MANAGER INFORMATION

Welcome to the Continental Amatuer Baseball Association Series being hosted by Trout Park Baseball. Please consult the tournament bracket for exact dates and times of play. It is imperative that coaches, umpires, tournament officials, parents and adult spectators all work in unison to send a positive message to the players. Please keep this in mind during the course of the tournament.

Information about the tournament and Trout Park is posted on our website. If you should have any other questions please feel free to contact me either by email from the website or at my phone number listed below. Please Register as required and check in with the site/field manager on your game days. A tournament representative will review your materials prior to your team's first game of the tournament.

Games may be played at various sites in or near the City of Elgin, IL however Trout Park is our main hosting site and Elgin Tournament Headquarters. Trout Park is located on Rt. 25, 1 block south of I-90. Rt. 25 is an exit at I-90 and directions can be found on our website. No food or coolers are allowed at Trout Park as we have a full concession stand available and all money we raise is used to support our baseball program. Admission to the baseball park is mandated by CABA Rules and Policies. Passes or admission may be required. You may be asked to present a ticket or pass for that day's events. Please cooperate with our staff.

No batting practice is allowed at the Trout Park Baseball field during the Tournament. The Fox Valley Sports Academy has indoor batting cages and pitching tunnels if you wish to utilize their facility. They are located one block north of I-90 on the east side of Rt. 25. You can contact the FVSA at 847-622-8700. Special pricing is offered to those teams participating in our tournament. Infield warm-up is only allowed if a tournament official deems time is available. Once again, this is being done in order to complete the Tournament within the specified time allowed. No hard balls are allowed to be soft tossed against any of the fences but whiffle balls can be utilized. There are soft toss hitting stations in the corners of the park and can be used for warmup. We ask that you and your players respect the field and adheer to any instruction given by a tournament official, groundskeeper or umpire.

If you have any questions or concerns prior to or during the Tournament, you can contact me on my cell phone number at 847/919-0831 or at Trout Park at 847/697-0540. I am here to help you and your team in any manner possible. Don't hesitate to contact me. In the event of rain or inclement weather, please contact me regarding field conditions.
